ODTSEA hosts its annual Fall Conference at Chinook Winds Resort in Lincoln City.

The board members of ODTSEA want to let you know of a great opportunity this coming fall to earn all of your continuing education credit in one weekend at the coast. This year the board has decided to move the conference to Lincoln City, Oregon and the Chinook Winds Conference center for a weekend of fun and professional growth. We have many workshops scheduled, breakout sessions, and keynote speakers guaranteed to pique your interest and meet your professional growth needs.

Friday night starts off as an opportunity to hone your technology skills. We have workshops for Mac and PC users who just want to find out how to better use their machines to present a quality driver education message. We also have two speakers from the great state of Hawaii who will present on how to use the notebook PC to score, record and print out the results of each drive session right there in the car.

Saturday we have general sessions with Rich Hanson, Judge Steven Todd, and Bill Warner highlighting excellence in driver education and what every driver educator needs to know but didn't know whom to ask. Along with the general session we have great breakout sessions that address some of the key issues that confront the driver educator on a daily basis. Sunday is a continuation of Saturday with great workshops on best practices in the classroom and in the car.

Registration is easy. Just follow the link http://www.regonline.com/drivereducation2011 to register. You can pay with credit card when you register on the website or by personal check at the door. There will be no credit cards accepted at the door. Dates for the conference are September 30th through October 2nd. Make sure to register early to avoid late registration fees after September 14th.
