An OREGON Driver Educator Named ADTSEA's "Teacher of the Year"

In a room filled with driver educators from all over the country, an Oregon man rose and walked to the podium. After a few humorous remarks, he began to thank those around him who had also come from Oregon. Why the thanks?
Richard Hanson, OTSEA's President, will be the first to acknowledge that people don't get to the point where they make significant impact in a given discipline without building and depending on a solid support structure of professionals. This year's TEACHER OF THE YEAR award recipient acknowledged greatness from interconnectedness with great professionals as he spoke about receiving the national award. He spoke as a seasoned presenter, with relevant points and a very personal manner.
We are extremely proud of Rich's award and his continuing efforts to improve Traffic Safety for the citizens of Oregon!
